The T2 terminal of a Southeast Asian international airport, built over 28 months, has officially opened. Its iconic hyperbolic metal composite curtain wall has attracted industry attention. The project uses modular prefabrication technology, assembling 170,000 pieces of differently shaped aluminum plates into a streamlined shell with an error control within ±1.5mm. The contractor stated that this technology shortened the construction period by 45% compared to traditional methods, setting a new benchmark for the construction of curtain walls in large transportation hubs.
